Using the service

Removo provides a web-based tool for removing image backgrounds and exporting processed results. These Terms apply when you access the website, upload an image, submit an image URL, create or use an account, or purchase a paid plan.

The service is available to both consumers and business users. If you use the service on behalf of a company or another organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

You may use the service only if you are legally allowed to enter into a binding agreement and only for lawful purposes.

Accounts

Some features require you to sign in. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens through your account.

You must provide accurate account and billing information where required. We may suspend or limit access if we believe an account is being used for abuse, fraud, payment disputes, security attacks, or violations of these Terms.

Free plan and usage limits

The Free plan lets you use background removal with limits. Free limits may depend on whether you are signed in, your account, IP address, browser cookie, device, abuse-prevention signals, and system capacity.

Free limits, export options, queue behavior, and available processing models may change over time. We may apply technical limits to protect the service from abuse or overload.

Pro plan

Pro is a paid subscription that provides higher daily usage limits, smart AI routing, retries with additional processing models for the same image, and other paid features shown on the pricing page or during checkout.

Pro is subject to fair use and technical limits. We may limit, throttle, block, or review activity that appears automated, abusive, unusually high-volume, fraudulent, or harmful to service reliability.

Features may evolve over time. We may add, improve, rename, replace, or remove features where needed for reliability, security, legal compliance, or product development, provided that mandatory consumer rights are not limited.

Subscription billing

The current Pro price and billing interval are shown before checkout. The final price, taxes, and recurring payment details are shown in checkout before you pay.

Unless stated otherwise during checkout, Pro renews automatically each month from the date of purchase until you cancel it. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge the payment method linked to your account for recurring subscription fees.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal when it is available. Cancellation stops future renewals. After cancellation, Pro access normally remains available until the end of the already paid billing period.

If a payment fails, is disputed, is reversed, or a subscription becomes past due, unpaid, paused, or otherwise invalid, Pro access may be paused, downgraded to Free, limited, or removed until billing is resolved.

Price and plan changes

We may change prices for future purchases and future subscription periods. Price changes do not affect a billing period that you have already paid for.

For existing consumer subscriptions, a price increase or other material subscription change will apply only where permitted by law and, where required, after your prior consent. If you do not accept a required change, your subscription may be cancelled or continue only until the end of the current paid period.

We do not promise that any current price, feature set, limit, or promotion will remain available permanently.

Right of withdrawal and refunds

If mandatory consumer law gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase, that right applies. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Pro is delivered as a digital service and may include digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium. When you complete checkout and receive immediate Pro access, you request that we begin providing the paid digital service immediately.

Where permitted by applicable law, you may lose the right to withdraw once the service or digital content has been fully performed or provided after your prior express consent and acknowledgement of that loss of right. Where the law requires additional consent or confirmation, that requirement applies.

Except where required by applicable law or approved by us in an exceptional case, subscription fees already charged are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, downgraded access, unused limits, or unused features.

We may approve a refund in exceptional situations, for example where a serious technical issue caused the paid service to be unavailable or unusable and the issue was not caused by your device, connection, files, or use of the service.

Uploaded images and outputs

You keep ownership of the images, URLs, files, and other content you submit. You also own your output to the extent permitted by applicable law and by the rights you already have in the input content.

By submitting content, you give us the limited permission needed to receive it, process it, route it to available AI models, display previews, generate downloads, operate the service, troubleshoot issues, enforce limits, and protect the service from abuse.

The service is designed so uploaded images are processed temporarily and returned to your browser. We do not intend to permanently store uploaded images or generated outputs as part of normal operation. You are responsible for saving outputs you want to keep.

Your responsibility for content

You must have the rights, permissions, and legal basis needed to upload, process, and use any content you submit.

Do not upload or submit content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, contains child sexual abuse material, exploits minors, promotes violence or terrorism, is used for harassment or impersonation, or is otherwise unlawful or unsafe.

We do not actively pre-screen every upload. We may block, limit, remove, or report content or accounts where required by law or where we reasonably believe the service is being misused.

AI results and quality

Background removal results depend on image quality, subject shape, lighting, file format, and model behavior. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, distorted, or unsuitable for your intended use.

Pro may use additional routing or processing options to improve results for certain images, but we do not guarantee that any output will be perfect, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using, publishing, selling, or relying on them.

Prohibited technical use

The service is provided through the web interface only. You may not scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, bypass limits, automate bulk requests, resell access, interfere with security controls, or use the service in a way that overloads or harms our systems.

You may not attempt to access private endpoints, avoid rate limits, share accounts to bypass limits, or use multiple accounts, IP addresses, cookies, or devices to evade usage restrictions.

Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, provider outages, model failures, network issues, security incidents, or force majeure events.

We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as the product evolves, subject to mandatory consumer rights and paid subscription commitments.

You can submit support requests, complaints, withdrawal statements, and billing questions by email at [email protected]. Please include the email address connected with your account, a description of the issue, and any relevant payment or error details.

Where applicable law requires a specific response period, we will follow that period. Otherwise, we aim to respond within a reasonable time.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have access to consumer advice, local consumer authorities, or other mandatory dispute resolution options available under your local law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, attempt to bypass limits, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay, initiate abusive disputes, or use the service unlawfully.

You may stop using the service at any time. Stopping use does not automatically cancel a paid subscription; you must cancel through the billing portal or another cancellation method made available to you.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is and as available, subject to rights and warranties that cannot be excluded by law.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, loss of goodwill, or service interruption.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without limiting mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence.

If you are a consumer, you may bring claims before courts or authorities available under mandatory consumer law. If you are a business user, disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Poland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above shows when these Terms were last updated.

For material changes affecting paid subscriptions or consumer rights, we will provide notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms, unless mandatory law requires a different process.
